1. Customer

The history of the bank dates back to 1995 and began with Westdeutsche Landesbank Polska S.A. After many legal changes and rebranding since 2016, the bank, under the name of Nest Bank S.A., has been offering its products to both natural persons and micro entrepreneurs. The name Nest Bank derives from the English language, in which the word nest means a retreat or shelter. The bank is owned by AnaCap Financial Partners LLP, a British capital fund. Nest Bank has almost 200 establishments in Poland.

2. Challenge

Nest Bank needed a BPMS platform to manage its business processes through various channels in the area of product sales, after-sales service and back-office operations.

3. Solution

As part of the project, we delivered and installed our own Ferryt platform for business process management and a data bus (ESB). We performed business analyses for the processes indicated by the Bank.

The next steps/stages of the project involved applying and implementing a number of solutions for supporting branch front-end and back-office processes, as well as and online and mobile processes. The scope of the project included modules intended for improving the Bank’s operations in the area of pre-sales services, multi-channel sales and after-sales processes. We implemented a portal for financial intermediaries, an electronic document archive and CRM solutions. We provided and introduced a module for credit risk assessment (scoring/rating) and performed analyses and implementations of selected credit risk models. Based on the services implemented on the data bus, we conducted integrations of the Ferryt platform with the systems functioning in the Bank and with the services of external providers.

Currently, we are dealing with maintenance and optimisation of the systems implemented at the Bank.

4. Result

After the implementation in the production environment, the system significantly improved the Bank’s operations in the area of sales and servicing of banking products. The registration and servicing processes are now much faster and more cost-effective.
