ING Bank Śląski is a modern bank and a member of Internationale Nederlanden Groep, the financial group operating in the banking, insurance and investment sectors worldwide. The Bank has over 4.4 million customers and the network of over 300 branches. In the international competition Euromoney Awards of Excellence 2020 the Bank was awarded the title of Poland’s Best Bank. The jury appreciated the effectiveness of the bank’s business model and the innovative solutions provided to its clients.
The bank needed a BPM system to automate online sales processes for retail customers and enterprises.
The project was preceded by the ‘Proof of Concept’, which confirmed that the Ferryt platform is the right tool for the Bank to achieve the business objectives set.
Based on the business analysis performed, we adapted the elements of the solution so that they could meet the Bank’s needs. The layout of the Ferryt e-Application module was adjusted according to the customer’s requirements and taking into account the ‘UX Design’ principles. The dedicated BPM platform was implemented to handle sales processes concerning retail customers and enterprises. We integrated the solution with the bank’s electronic banking and other systems, as well as with the systems and services of external providers indicated by the bank. The implemented Ferryt Decision Engine module was used to automatically select a path for the processing of sales applications.
We conducted development, unit and integration tests. We implemented the system and business processes in the environments agreed with the Bank. Currently, we have been providing maintenance services and continuing works on the further development of the implemented solution.
The methodology applied by DomData and the Bank to develop and implement this solution enabled the Bank to achieve its goals within the time frame set. The implementation of the platform, the configuration of processes and the production start-up took place in a short time allowing for a quick “go to market”.
