Implementing any IT system is just one step towards achieving the desired business objectives. Although it is an important step, its realization should not be the first task for the supplier and buyer of the system. Also the earlier steps: analysis of enterprise standings and its internal processes are extremely essential. However, it is still not enough to offer full benefits to the buyer.
The visible effects of implementing a new system can only be achieved when it had been tested whether the information flow model existing in the areas covered in implementation was optimal or not. That is why each implementation project, regardless of the system being implemented, should include another element: optimization of the processes that will be supported by the new IT solution.
